Mission
The primary mission of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness is
the gathering, analysis, and dissemination of information to serve both internal
and external mandates and requests as well as assisting in the development of
the planning-evaluation cycle for all internal agencies. Internally the staff is
engaged in a variety of assessment and evaluation procedures that provide
information to the administration in order to facilitate informed decision
making. Externally
the office meets all state and federal mandates to include the reporting
calendar of the State Council of Higher Education, the reporting requirements of
the Integrated Postsecondary Data System, and the Southern Association of
Colleges and Schools. Other external requests are handled on an as-needed basis
and have included requests from the Office of Civil Rights, Office of the
Attorney General, Student Right to Know, as well as a variety of related
agencies.
